Halloween Weekend

Throughout last weekend I worked to get in touch with FamousErik, to no avail. Seems like he is a little more timid then his projected image would suggest.

Regardless, I was busy with tons of other stuff. On Thursday I saw Suicide [terrible], MGMT [alright], and Justice [pretty sweet]. Friday I threw a Halloween party!

The party was pretty crazy. The night began with an awesome set by Killer Bob, consisting of Max Jaffe, Rob Lunberg, and Dave Scanlon, three fantastic musicians fromm New School for Jazz/Contemporary. The trio plays an out jazz with metal influences.

The night continued inside and on the roof with music by DJ Sweatpants. People were dancing all night, er… at least until the five cops arrived around 2:30. I was out catching air when they arrived, but when I returned they explained that a a bottle was thrown at them from the roof, and that I cannot have parties like this.

I assured the police that things were alright and they promptly left. At that point the night was late, and I was ready for people to leave, the cops bounced the party and didnt even charge for it! Well, they did grab one kids 40oz and fling it at the wall!

All in all the weekend was awesome, but long. I don’t forsee another party like this one for a while, if ever. This weeks episode will be a recount of the weekends events!

FamousErik is a flake.

You heard that, FamousErik sucks. This past week I tried to get in touch with him to schedule a rap battle, but all I got was the email that I posed over the weekend. This forces me to apoligize for no episode this week.

Im pretty sure that FamousErik is located in New York, so im going to keep trying this week and get this episode going. Maybe it will even happen on Halloween!
